Objectives of Programme’s Learning Outcomes
Develop an increased intercultural awareness and overall development of intercultural sensitivity and openness (international concern, interpersonal and intercultural communication, etc.).
Be able to adapt the communication (linguistic register) and behaviour to the audience while respecting the intention, the target audience, the gender, the linguistic register.
Use intercultural knowledge in order to understand, analyse and contextualise the practice of a professional discussion or negotiation.
Be familiar with the social, cultural and political environment of some European and non-European foreign countries.
Votre profil
The lecturer will have a significant experience of intercultural relations and a thorough knowledge of the English language (level C1)
Notre offre
As per 1 October 2023 with the view to improving the international skills of engineering students, there is an opening for a part time position of lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Mons. The lecturer will lecture a course unit in the discipline of intercultural Relations.
The designation may be renewed every year.
For PhD holders, the remuneration is in line with the official rate for university lecturers. The rate for visiting lecturers (105€ per hour, all taxes included) will be used otherwise.
