One of the unique features of the Faculty of Science is that it provides you with teaching that is closely linked to research through personal projects and laboratories supervised by faculty researchers.

The research teams enjoy a truly international reputation! The Faculty of Science is one of the most active institutions in Hainaut in terms of scientific research. Its biologists, chemists, computer scientists, physicists, and mathematicians are not just teachers: they are also heavily involved in numerous national and international programs, in both fundamental and applied research.

Master’s internships in all fields are also of paramount importance (in companies, research laboratories, etc.).

Finally, students actively participate in research outreach activities.
