Prof. Georges Kouroussis, Full Professor, has been re-elected director of the International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration (IIAV) for the period 2022-2026 (he was also a director during the period 2016-2020). The IIAV is an internationally recognized institute, founded in 1995 and bringing together scientists and academics working in the field of vibration and acoustics research. Each year, the institute organizes the International Congress on Sound and Vibration (ICSV) and also publishes a scientific journal with impact factor (International Journal of Acoustics and Vibration – IJAV).
