Visiting of Prof. Profillidis (Democritus Thrace University, Greece)

The Department of Theoretical Mechanics, Dynamics and Vibrations had the pleasure of receiving the visit of Prof. Vassilios Profillidis, professor in the Department of Civil Engineering – Transport section – of the Democritus Thrace University (Greece) this Wednesday 23rd of June. Prof. Profillidis holds the Diploma in Civil Engineering from the University of Thessaloniki, MSc and PhD in Transportation from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris, and the Diploma in Law from the University of Thessaloniki; he is recognized worldwide in the railway sector, due to its great expertise in various research fields (transport economics and feasibility methods, traffic analysis and demand, intelligent transport systems, sustainable mobility, transport and the environment, organization and management, …).
