Description

The study of Education examines school and out-of-school learning environments and their impact on the development of individuals and society.

The Master’s degree in Education trains students to design innovative projects, to improve their practices and their thinking in different fields of education and training. Students also develop skills to conduct research in the field of education and gain the necessary foundations for a career in research.

In general, the specialist focuses prepare students for employment in various fields of educational practice. The specialist approach is, nevertheless, firmly grounded in educational research and aims to develop skills based on a rigorous scientific approach.

The Educational Technology specialist focus covers information and communication technologies, such as digital and internet tools, social media, software and applications, smartphones, interactive whiteboards, and is designed to integrate these into education and training systems (primary, secondary and higher education classes, public and private companies, etc.) in a variety of ways: face-to-face, distance or hybrid teaching, collaboratively or individually, for large groups (MOOCs) or for a small number of students.

This means developing skills to integrate tools into techno-pedagogical devices in order to highlight their benefits to learning. From needs analysis to evaluation, including pedagogical and interface design, different models, theories and practical examples will be used in order to promote the most relevant choices of ICT uses which are most likely to enhance the quality of learning.
