EURAXESS – Researchers in motion

EURAXESS is an EU initiative to support international and intersectoral mobility of researchers and their career development through personalised services. The aim is to improve research collaboration within Europe and between Europe and the world.

The term “researcher” refers to anyone carrying out research, from postgraduate level upwards (including doctoral students and academics).

In 2010, the Euraxess programme was initiated at UMONS. The institution has invested in the 4 components of the programme in order to improve its human resources management strategy in research, its training and professional development offer, the visibility of its international job offers and its reception of foreign researchers.
