Training offer
The Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning offers :
- A 3-year Bachelor’s in architecture
- A 2-year Master’s in architecture. With this Master’s degree, graduates can pursue a career as a self-employed architect, among other professions. In order to do this, graduates must first do a traineeship for two years. They can work under a fully qualified architect who is a member of the Belgian ‘Order of Architects’ (Ordre des Architectes).
- A Master’s degree in Urban Planning and Territorial Development
- A PhD in Architecture and Urban Planning
- A PhD in Art and Art Sciences
- An interuniversity Master’s degree specialising in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage (Buildings)
- An interuniversity Certificate in BIM-oriented Building Data Modelling (DATA4BIM)
- An interuniversity Certificate in the Use, Interaction and Visualisation of Digital Mock-ups (UX4BIM)
- An interuniversity Certificate in Anticipatory and Interdisciplinary Risk and Crisis Management
- An AESS (Belgian upper secondary teaching qualification) in Construction and Urban Planning
