[EN] Conference – Decolonial Perspectives: Where the Borders Speak
The afternoon begins with workshops inspired by Borderlands/La Frontera by Gloria Anzaldúa. Together, we will chart our own boundaries, uncovering the words that resist and persist, before turning to graphic novels and comics as spaces for reflection, where the dialogues they open will take shape through collective writing. French, English, Spanish, and many more languages will echo and intertwine, giving voice to our experiences.
To close the day, Professor Lissell Quiroz will widen the horizon, guiding our reflections toward a decolonial perspective of borders, seen not as lines on a map but as systems of power shaping our realities.
A moment to come together, to reflect, and to create. No expertise is needed, only the wish to participate!
In collaboration with Présence et Action Culturelles Mons-Borinage (PAC), Centre Régional d’Intégration de Mons-Borinage-Wapi (CRI MB-Wapi) and CNCD-11.11.11. Hainaut
