About the Faculty

The Warocqué School of Business and Economics (FWEG) offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in economics and management and, more specifically, a Master’s degree in Economic and Social Policy. The FWEG arranges daytime Master courses in Mons and evening and weekend courses in Charleroi.

The FWEG is open to the world and the realities of today.

It continually improves its programmes so that they correspond to the evolutions and requirements of the professional world. The FWEG offers courses in human resource management, social responsibility, the environment, entrepreneurship, and covers fields such as finance, marketing, auditing, management, and more.

The FWEG is a relatively small faculty, with the students as its number one priority. The Faculty wants students to feel at ease during their studies. It is for this reason, as well as for continuous improvement, that the Faculty staff regularly ask the students about programmes and schedules. The availability of staff, their listening skills, and the proximity between students and teachers, are all strong points highlighted by the students.

The FWEG offers its students stays abroad, for a period of 5 months to a year, to meet students from other countries, of different cultures, and especially, who speak other languages.

The Faculty also pays great attention to the success of its students by providing means to ensuring their success, such as, disciplinary remediation, tutoring, and sponsoring.

Finally, the FWEG is a pioneering faculty in quality management. Since January 2003, its teaching has been certified according to the ISO 9001 international standard. The Faculty currently benefits from its fifth 3-year certificate. This ISO standard is a reference that thousands of companies from all sectors around the world use as a framework for quality management and assurance.
