Academic Calendar

The academic year is divided into 2 main semesters, dedicated to courses and exams.

• The 1st semester of the academic year begins in mid-September and ends in late January.
• The 2nd semester runs from early February to late June.

Academic Requirements

Applicants are required to have a sufficient knowledge of Business and/or Economics. Information related to the pre-requisites for each course can be found in the course syllabus, available in the course catalogue (by clicking on the name of each course).

We offer courses in French and English. As an exchange student, you will need to have a working knowledge of the language you wish to study in (minimum B1/B2 – CEFR). Free intensive courses of French are offered by the UMONS Centre for Modern Languages at the start of each semester, as well as throughout the academic year.
