Our Marking System

Your final exams will be marked out of 20, with 10 being the pass mark.

Mark	Qualitative Equivalent
18 and above	Excellent
16 to <18	Very good
14 to <16	Good
12 to <14	Satisfactory
10 to <12	Pass
8 to <10	Fail – further work is required
<8	Fail – considerable work is required

At the end of your stay at UMONS, your exam results will be sent by the host faculty directly to your home institution using the Belgian and ECTS marking systems.
