Description
This 120-credit Master’s degree in Management offers future graduates management training through courses in finance, marketing, accounting, law, etc., as well as in highly sought-after disciplines on the job market, such as social responsibility and entrepreneurship, among others.
Access conditions
The 120-credit Master’s degree in Management is taught in the evenings at at weekends, and is accessible to students with a Bachelor’s in Management, a Bachelor’s in Economics and Management, or a Bachelor’s in Business Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
Students who have graduated from another type of higher education institution with a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree can also apply for this Master’s programme.
Some students will have to take extra courses beforehand in order to have the pre-requisites necessary for the course.

Target audience
This specialised Master’s degree in Management and Strategy is mainly intended for working professionals who wish to change careers or move up in the hierarchy of their organisation or company.Students with a Bachelor’s in Management or Economics and Management can also register on the Master’s course.
Extra information
The Master’s programme is organised in the evenings and at weekends to meet the requirements of working professionals: on average, three evenings of classes per week (from 6pm to 9pm) and one Saturday per month, distance learning using our IT platform.
Program and structure
The two 60-credit blocks of the Master’s focus on the skills required in management. Five major areas of management are covered, both in their strategic and operational aspects: Finance, Taxation, Management, Marketing, Human Resources. In addition to the core curriculum, students must choose options in the first block (business creation or personal project) and in the second block (financial strategy seminar, marketing strategy seminar or human resources strategy seminar).
The programme is complemented by a customised distance learning course in English. Students must also write a dissertation in their final year.
Teaching profile
The programme description defines the expected learning outcomes, i.e. what the student should know, understand and be able to achieve by the end of a learning activity, a teaching unit or a study cycle (Bachelor's, Master's, etc.). Learning outcomes are defined in terms of knowledge, expertise and soft skills.
At the end of the Master's, students will be able to:
- Mobilise expertise in at least one area of management.
- Communicate and present original work in a professional manner both orally and in writing.
- Act in an international and multicultural context.
- Collaborate within a team and exercise leadership.
- Prioritise responsible management practices.
- Actively and effectively master knowledge in the different areas of management and use them effectively in a professional context.
- Be independent and regularly adapt to new contexts.
- Understand the interactions between the company and its socio-economic environment.
Opportunities
All courses offered by the Warocqué School of Business and Economics (FWEG) provide varied opportunities for their graduates. Our students acquire expertise in a wide range of functions related to organisation, administration, business management, finance, human resources, research and analysis. This expertise can be used both in private companies and in public bodies and institutions, both in Belgium and abroad.
