Late re-registration request requiring authorisation from the Rector
To be completed between 1st October 2018 and 25th October 2018.
In accordance with the 2018-2019 UMONS Study Regulations, and more specifically with Article 17 of this document, the re-registration period closes on 30th September 2018. Requests submitted between 1st October 2018 and 25th October 2018 may require authorisation from the Rector.
Procedure: The form, available below, duly completed and signed by the student, must be transmitted to the Registration Office between the 1st October and 25th October 2018. The candidate will ensure that all the relevant documents are submitted with their request. Late registration requests must be justified. The Dean of the Faculty concerned will inform the Rector of their opinion. The candidate will be informed of the Rector’s decision by post.
If the candidate is accepted, they must go to the Registration Office in order to finalise their re-registration.
Non-financeable student registration or re-registration request requiring authorisation from the Rector
To be completed by the 15th October 2018 at the latest.
In accordance with the decree of 7th November 2013 defining the organisation of higher education and studies, Article 96, Paragraph 1, the academic authorities can, according to the procedure described in the Study Regulations, refuse the registration/re-registration of any student who:
- at the time of registration/re-registration is intending to study a course which is not subsidised
- is considered a non-financeable student.
These students can, however, submit a registration/re-registration waiver request which will be transferred to the Rector for authorisation.
A waiver request is necessary for:
- new Belgian or EU students and new non-EU assimilated, non-financeable students
- students who have already registered at UMONS, non-financeable students (Belgian, EU and non-EU) who wish to register or re-register at the University.
Procedure: the form, available below, must be duly completed and signed by the student.
The request must be submitted, in person, at the Registration Office, which is responsible for transferring the request to the relevant Faculty and then the Rector.
Candidates will be notified in writing, either by e-mail or recorded delivery, if their finalised registration/re-registration request is denied. Registration and re-registration requests are considered finalised once the official request form and all the relevant accompanying documents have been handed into the Registration Office.
No requests will be processed between 15th July and 15th August.
If the request is accepted, the candidate must go to the Registration Office in order to finalise their registration/re-registration.
