Career Prospects

A degree from the FPMs (also known as “Polytech” or “Polytech Mons”) is highly sought after in the job market. The versatile training of engineers from the FPMs offers professional perspectives in a wide range of sectors, in which graduates can work as designers, technical specialists and managers. Since its creation, the FPMs has built a solid network of graduates in all sectors, in all kinds of organisations – from SMEs to major companies, including in the public sector – and covering all engineering professions, from technical expertise to top management.

With nearly 2000 active members, Polytech Mons Alumni is a great network to take advantage of in order to successfully enter the world of work. It actively prepares students for their future careers during the latter stages of their studies, and supports young graduates in their job search.

Annual graduate surveys, conducted by UMONS, show that nearly half of FPMs alumni find work before the end of their studies, with 85% of them finding a job within six months of graduation.
