Assessment System

After the final exams (oral and / or written), the score given will be between 0 and 20. To pass, you must obtain a score of at least 10/20.

Conversion Table for Bachelor’s programmes at the FPMs (out of 20)
A: excellent 17-20
B: very good 14.5-16.5
C: good 12-14
D: satisfactory 10.5-11.5
E: sufficient 10
Fx: fail Between 8 and 9.5 /20
F: fail Less than 8

At the end of an exchange at UMONS, the exam results are sent by the host faculty directly to the student’s home university showing the scores in both the Belgian ranking system and the ECTS grading system.
